2008 Fall Conference

September 26-28  in Sioux Falls, SD

This year's conference will be held in conjunction with the South Dakota Festival of Books, giving our members a chance to attend the countless literary activities taking place in Sioux Falls that weekend. SDSPS will be hosting one main society event at the Festival: A "Winner's Tea" on Friday afternoon. At the tea, we will announce the contest winners and give them a chance to read their winning poems.  We will all enjoy good poetry along with beverages and snacks. A number of local, regional, and national poets will be presenting their poetry throughout the day Saturday, so members are encouraged to attend as many events as possible!
