| History Organized in 1927 and incorperated in 1970, the South Dakota State Poetry Society was organized to publish Pasque Petals, the society's official literacy magazine, which was founded in 1926. The editors encourage present and former South Dakota writers to submit poetry of all genres - free verse, syllabic, rhymed, tank, and haiku - in consideration for publication. |
