Organized in 1927 and incorporated in 1970, the South Dakota State Poetry Society
was organized to publish Pasque Petals,
the society's official literary magazine, which was founded in 1926.

The editors encourage present and former South Dakota writers to submit poetry of all
genres- free verse, syllabic, rhymed, tanka, and haiku - in consideration for publication.

To submit poetry, please send an email to pasque.petals@gmail.com
or send hard copies via postal mail.
If you choose email, you can attach a word document or put the poem
in the body of the email. Please keep in mind
that the body of an email may not maintain the poem's structure.
If you have a poem with a particular "shape," please
use a word document.
